Hua Parakore is a gardening show presented by Michelle Hudson.  Every week Michelle  gives you hints and tips of what to plant and when to plant using the Maramataka from the 10 Feb – 16 Feb 2010.   This week  she talks about planting brassicas, harvesting peruperu and how to store some of your hua whenua.  She also gives you a quick basic tomatoe pasta sauce.

Te Reo O Te Tai Tokerau is once again bringing you live coverage of Waitangi 2010.

It is the 70th anniversary of the taonga waka taua Nga Toki Matawhaorua of Pewhairangi which has been refurbished by tohunga Waka Builder and Navigator Heke-nuku-mai-nga-iwi Puhipi (Hector Busby).  Also returning to Waitangi after 70 years is Nga Toki Matawhaorua of Otaua. This too was refurbished by Hector Busby.

On the morning of 28 November 2009 Kuia, Kaumatua, whanau, and local MP’s all gathered outside Tautoko FM to help celebrate their 21st birthday with an offical opening and blessing of Pou, upgraded building, new Film and Audio Recording Facility, new on-air studio, new web site and new office space.
