Getting a facelift

The lead up to the birthday and blessing of the up graded building saw a great flurry of activity within the small community of Mangamuka. It brought nga taitamariki, kuia and kaumatua together as well as interest from people travelling along State Highway 1.

A big mihi to the small community of Mangamuka for all their hard work, very long hours, putting up with the noise and the limited parking space.

‘Tautoko’ .. so named by the Kuia and Kaumatua.

To support Maori and Maori kaupapa in their endeavours to achieve their goals.

Te Reo Takiwa o Tautoko was a collective effort of Whanau / Hapu and Iwi vision, to erect a Broadcasting Facility as a means of communication to the outer boundaries of it’s then and now site .. Mangamuka.
