His music is played alot on Tautoko FM, it’s great to hear waiata about our hapu and whanau.  He mihi ki a koe e te whanaunga, tino rawe tou waiata.

Our first band to check out is:

1814

a local band from Whangaroa Harbour they played in Kaitaia 1 May 2010.
They’re touring NZ promoting the launch of their new album “jah rydem”.
Keep an eye out for the new single “INSOMNIA”

This band is tino rawe.  Not only did they do 2 shows one for the whanau (smokefree, alcohol free & drug free) then later on that night one for the adults, they also allowed the local Kaitaia College year 12 music class to be the opening act. 

I give them the big PUKANA!! Ka mihi koutou.
