Waitangi Tribunal Hearing of the Ngati Kahu Claim

Waitangi Tribunal Hearing of the Ngati Kahu Claim for remedies against the Crown

Monday 3rd – Friday 8th September 2012, Karaponia Marae

On Monday was the first day of the Waitangi Tribunal hearing into the Ngati Kahu claim for remedies including binding and non binding recommendations against the crown, and requesting the return of the land with 27b memorials land sold by the crown

Tautoko will link to Te Hiku o Te Ika from 11am today when the crown will be presenting their submissions and tomorrow Ngati Kahu Hapu, Ngati Tara and Te Paatu will present evidence in support of Ngati Kahu

Friday morning from 9am we will broadcast coverage of the hearing when Te Rarawa, Te Aupouri and Ngaitakoto will present their submissions

Friday afternoon will be presented by claimant and Ngapuhi Hapu Te Uri o Te Aho

The Broadcast will finish around 4pm
