BOY
A film by Academy Award nominee Taika Waititi
Opening in cinemas this Thursday 25 March
You’d be an EGG to Miss It
Highly recommended, finally a movie for all those eggs out there.
I loved it, but I’m not an egg. A light hearted look at those 80’s sterotypes of maori.
He mihi ki a Taika. A very talented matua he is director/writer/producer/actor (what doesn’t this guy do).
check out these websites as well

North Tech Open Day
The North Tech Open Day was awesome, it was a chance for people to
meet and greet with the Tutors and to see what Courses were available for students.

Whaea Joss Thompson said that North Tech needs the Kaikohe community to let the campus know what are the needs of the community and how they can help, whether it be courses in Digital Works, Technology, Music.
Where there is a need, they want to provide it.
The day was also supported by Te Hauora O Kaikohe, Winz Kaikohe and National Bank
Here is a list of some of the courses they provide:

A film by Academy Award nominee Taika Waititi
The story follows an 11-year-old Boy (who everyone calls “boy) and his little brother Rocky who “must reconcile reality with the fantasy dad (played by Waititi) they created in their imagination after their father returns home after many years away.
