Matini and Sarah Kay will be broadcasting live from The Kodak Shop Broadway Kaikohe Thursday 7th of July and from the Tuna Cafe main rd Moerewa Friday 8th of July. Talking to the locals and giving away prizes.
Matakino (Aunty Buffy) will be Broadcasting Nga korero me nga waiata o nga mokopuna i roto i te Kohanga Reo.

BOI Country Rock Festival 13th 14th 15th May

The Bay of Islands Country Rock Festival features good music and friendship in the stunning setting of the Bay of Islands of New Zealand – one of the top tourist spots of the country. Each year the festival features more than 45 acts from New Zealand, Nashville and Australia performing at multiple venues. Street music and line dancing are also popular features.

Vavese has been selected to represent the Hokianga and New Zealand at the 2011 15th World Championships of Perorming Arts Competition which will be held from the 15th of July to the 24th July 2011.
It’s a great oppotunity for Vavese, and she will be in the running to win her share in $120,000 in scholarships.
