Tautoko FM Turns 21 on 28 November 2009
Tautoko FM’s 21st birthday was on the 28 November 2009.
People on the ground in Mangamuka took part in the celebrations personally.
It all started at 7am with a blessing of the newly painted station, them manuhiri moved down to the Ngapuhi Marae for the powhiri and a breakfast hakari. At 10am stalls were opened and the concert began.
If you are south of Whangarei or outside the country, bookmark this blog and click on the Play Tautoko Now button.
And hear it all in the convenience of your whare.
Wherever that may be.
Tautoko is 21 once. And they celebrated 21 years of Tautoko Radio.
And look forward to the next 21 years.
And just because you can’t be there in person, doesn’t mean the celebration can’t be heard in your house.
Streaming through your computer speakers.
Here’s what happened on the ground.
